This class is for boys and girls who have had their 2nd birthday and love music and dance. Toddlers minds and imaginations will be stimulated through movement! One parent/guardian participates with the child...what a great way to spend a half hour with a toddler. This class is a building block for the Music & Movement program.
Ages: 24-36 months
Children's creativity and imagination will flourish in this class. It will enhance social interaction and individual development skills. This class is an introduction to dance steps to develop motor skills and spatial awareness. Suitable for boys and girls.
Ages: 3-4 years
Emotion, Expression, Interpretation - Spread your artistic wings. Blending Ballet and Jazz, you will explore your own choreography and discover new ways to express yourself through music, poetry and composition.

Upbeat, Energetic & Funky - this class will help develop coordination, strength, discipline and an appreciation for dance for young boys.Incorporating street dance style and basic bboying.

Derived from principles of a number of different styles, including Graham-based technique, release technique, contact dance, and Bartenieff Fundamentals. The focus is on core strength, range of motion, and an all-around body workout that leaves you feeling energized. Great for recreational and serious dancers, to increase fitness and compliment other dance styles!
Algeria being at the cross-road of African, Arabic, Andalusian and Berber cultures, Dounia's style in dancing carries this diversity and nurtures it. Dounia is also part of a generation of North Africans that were exposed to rock and roll, reggae, classical music...as well as to their own traditional music. Dounia uses music of artists from this generation that have incorporated these influences and are proud of carrying the message that diversity is a celebration of life itself. Belly dance is part of the North African dances taught by Dounia. This style of dancing will include Gnawa dances, feet stomping, drumming with some classes and workshops for both male and female dancers.

Explore the world of musical theatre with this up beat and energetic class. Using Ballet, Jazz, Fosse, and Soft shoe, this class will focus on technique, character development, and performance. Select songs and choreography will be used from shows and movies like Sweet Charity, West Side Story, White Christmas, and Hairspray.

Jive, Waltz, Social & Slow Foxtrot, Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Quickstep, Paso Doble, Tango & Viennese Waltz. These fun and popular dances for couples will give you the confidence and grace on the dance floor you need to be the center of attention at weddings and other social events. Private lessons available; individual, couples and groups. Classes are offered for the absolute beginner up to the most advanced dancer.
SALSA Salsa is a popular form of social dance that originated in New York with strong influences from Latin America, particularly Cuba and Puerto Rico. There are several styles of Salsa dancing, however in this session we will be learning On1 Salsa or New York style. We will begin with the basic steps of Salsa and body movements and progress into various turn patterns that you will be able to take to any Salsa/Latin event. We will focus on musicality and shines, which are an important part of New York Salsa.
MERENGUE Merengue is a popular form of social dance that originates from the Dominican Republic. It is one of the simplest Latin dances to learn because the beat of the music is clear and the rhythm constant. In this session we will learn the basic steps and body movements of Merengue and progress into more complicated turn patterns. We will also learn to differentiate between Merengue music and other Latin Music.
BACHATA Bachata is one of the most romantic Latin dances and it is from the Dominican Republic. It is also one of the most popular genres of music played at Latin dance events all over the world. Throughout both the Salsa and Merengue sessions we will learn the basics of Bachata. We will cover the fundamental steps and body movements to get started. We will progress on to more advanced moves and turn patterns. The focus of the class will be to move well to Bachata music, to interact with a dance partner and to employ the basics of leading and following this style of dance.
There are 2 classes offered: beginner & experienced.
1. Couples Getting Married...surprise your family and guests with a Ballroom or Latin American number as your first dance.
2. Shift Workers...can't make it to regular week to week classes? Private lessons can be booked at your convenience.
3. Skaters, Gymnasts, Performers...need to prepare a routine for a competition, audition or show? Have one of our instructors choreograph it for you.
4. Girls Just Wanna Have Fun...learn to grove it out to your favorite dance songs with a group of friends.
